The 8” Extreme Curve Even Handle is designed for groomers who want to work efficiently without sacrificing finish quality.
The longer blade combined with a deep curve lets you remove bulk and shape at the same time. On larger dogs especially, this saves a lot of time. You can follow the natural lines of the body in fewer passes, which helps avoid overworking the coat and keeps your finish consistent.
The extreme curve gives you better control through rounded areas like hips, rib cages, and heads. Instead of constantly adjusting your angle, the scissor does more of the work for you. That’s where you start to see cleaner lines and less rework.
The even handle keeps the feel familiar and balanced. If you’re used to straight scissors, this design makes it easier to step up into a longer curved scissor without feeling awkward in the hand.
From a servicing perspective, longer curved scissors need to be well-made to perform properly. If the blade isn’t consistent, you’ll notice it straight away in the cut. When they’re right, like these, they stay smooth through the full length of the blade and sharpen up reliably over time.
The 8” size is best suited to groomers who are comfortable with a longer scissor and want to improve efficiency, particularly on medium to large dogs.
